34th Anniversary Gala FundraisingHispanic Multi-Service Center celebrates successful charity gala "You Can Be the Rainbow for Someone after the Storm"" Center celebrates the thirty-four anniversary October 13, 20: Paterson, NJ - The Hispanic Center Multiple Service recently held its annual charity gala to raise funds for social and educational services offered to the community of Paterson. This year's winners of the "Share Your Heart" were: Honorable Mayor Jeffery Jone, Mr. Nicholas Tslepis, Stacey V. Tsapatsis, and Judith Foster. Elected officials from Passaic County, government officials, business executives and community leaders gathered to support the work of Centro Hispano and honor individuals and companies who have demonstrated extraordinary support to the Latino community in New Jersey.

33rd Anniversary Gala FundraisingHispanic Multi-Service Center celebrates successful charity gala "Share Your Heart" Center celebrates the thirty-third anniversary May 15, 2009: Paterson, NJ - The Hispanic Center Multiple Service recently held its annual charity gala to raise funds for social and educational services offered to the community of Paterson. Elected officials from Passaic County, government officials, business executives and community leaders gathered to support the work of Centro Hispano and honor individuals and companies who have demonstrated extraordinary support to the Latino community in New Jersey. This year's winners of the "Share Your Heart" were: Rep. Bill Pascrell, Assemblywoman Nellie Pou, Dr. Robert Reid, Montclair State University; Claire Insalata Poulos, founder and president of "Table to Table"; Ilene Isaacs, Director Executive Table to Table and the ShopRite supermarket chain. Paterson Mayor Jose "Joey" Torres gave feedback during the event about the importance of work done by the Hispanic Center at this time where so many people are losing their jobs. They also said this General Councilor Ken Morris, Jr. and council members Rigo Rodriguez, William McKoy (3rd Ward), Andre Sayegh (Sixth Ward), among others.

Desde oficiales electos del condado de Passaic, funcionarios gubernamentales, ejecutivos de negocios y líderes de la comunidad se reunieron para apoyar el trabajo del Centro Hispano y honrar a las personas y empresas que han demostrado un apoyo extraordinario a la comunidad Latina en New Jersey. Este año los ganadores del premio "Comparta su Corazón" fueron: el congresista Bill Pascrell; Asambleísta Nellie Pou, el Dr. Robert Reid, Montclair State University; Claire Insalata Poulos, fundadora y presidente de “Table to Table”; Ilene Isaacs, Directora Ejecutiva de Table to Table y la cadena de supermercados ShopRite. El alcalde de Paterson José “Joey” Torres emitió comentarios durante el evento sobre la importancia de trabajo que realiza el Centro Hispano en estos momentos donde tantas personas están perdiendo sus trabajos. También dijeron presente el Concejal General Ken Morris, Jr., y los consejales Rigo Rodríguez, William McKoy (3 ª Ward), Andre Sayegh (Sexto Ward), entre otros. |
